(More customer reviews)I was really disappointed by the LockState LS-6600 and will be returning it.

While the main portion of the lock seems well-built, the actual bolt into the door seems very second-rate and flimsy.Unfortunately, the stem that goes through the door and allows the handle to retract the bolt is larger than normal and won't fit the high-quality standard bolt that was already in the door.

I was also irritated by the lack of installation instructions.There *are* directions for programming the lock and even replacing the tumbler, but nothing on how to get the lock installed into the door.I was finally able to puzzle out how to separate the two halves of the lock so I could install it.

However, the lock is too tall!When installed, it WILL NOT FIT under the standard position for a deadbolt.It even intruded into the standard deadbolt hole, so, if you have a deadbolt installed, you can't even remove it and replace it with a cover.

The final irritant was the song.When you put in the access code, the lock plays a little tune that lasts about a second, maybe two.But the lock will not unlock until the song is over, so you have to wait on it.If there's a way to disable it, it must have been left out with the installation instructions.
