I like the fact that it is adjustable up to 48" - the width of my door. However, it turns out to be a little hard to use. The mechanism that lock is poorly designed. It is difficult to open the bar since the latch opening is too narrow and has little clearance. Anotherproblem is that there is no fastener to keep the bar from swinging when it is in the open position causing rattle noises when opening the door. I would look for a better design in the future.
