(More customer reviews)Our garage door opener was installed in 1979 and when we lost one of the remotes recently, we despaired of finding a replacement.However, a local store was able to tell us the name and number of a current model which could be used as a replacement, even though they did not carry them.Although we were somewhat doubtful, we ordered the 2 Linear 3089 Garage Door Opener Remotes and to our great delight, this model works perfectly. It was also easy to program. We are so thrilled we did not have to buy a whole new garage door opener system.

The Model 308911 1-Channel Visor Transmitter is a poratble transmitter designed for automatic door and gate operator applications. This transmitter is a single-channel device, pressing the pushbutton will send a signal to the receiver. The transmitter has a red test/operate indicator and is powered by a 9-volt battery. The transmitter is Multi-Code format with one 10-position coding switch providing 1,024 possible codes. The transmitter will only activate receivers set with the same code. The Model 308911 is compatible with 300 MHz Multi-Code receivers and Linear Model 109950 and 302850 receivers. A visor clip is included.
