(More customer reviews)After trying for some time to come up with a usable solution to my ex-wife's garage door problem--using various "universal" remotes--I did a quick web search and came up with the Wayne-Dalton pair of conversion module and remote control.The module essentially connects in parallel with the "doorbell button" on your garage door opener, rather than trying to learn or mimic the manufacturer's codes for your garage door.Training both units to a single remote took--I kid you not--three minutes.Plugging the whole thing in and getting it working took about 20 minutes, and half of that was getting the thing out of the packaging.
An inexpensive, elegant, and highly fool-resistant solution to the problem of having old, arcane, outdated, or weird garage door openers that refuse to accept new remotes.
